Haimer makes move for an increase in staff and new subsidiaries
For Haimer GmbH, the nationally and internationally leading manufacturer of high precision tool holders, 2007 was an extremely successful year. New records have been seen regarding the staff, subsidiaries and turnover.
Those who search for high precision clamping tools or practical special machines for shrinking and balancing of tools will make the right choice with Haimer. The special mark of the company is its motto “Quality wins”. In order to get top quality products Haimer already supports special productivity in the development and its own production. Both core sectors of the company are located in the Bavarian village Igenhausen. CEO, Claudia Haimer, emphasizes: “ We stand by our location in Germany as we have very good employees and an excellent infrastructure here. However, with our products we are at home all over the world. In the year 2007 we came closer to the most important markets for machining with new subsidiaries in Switzerland, Spain and India.”
The Haimer GmbH has more than 200 employees worldwide, and about 180 of them work in Igenhausen. They construct, produce and distribute the Haimer quality products, including different kinds of collet chucks, 3-D sensors as well as innovative shrinking machines and modular balancing systems. They invest annually up to ten per cent in research and development to keep the high level of performance. The success has proven Haimer right: In the year 2007 the turnover increased by 22,5 per cent to a new record level.
To deal with the demands, Haimer invested in additional production capacity. In 2007, €5 million were invested in this sector, one half of it was invested in new buildings, the other half in new machine technology. Haimer continues producing all important components at the location in Igenhausen.
For more than 30 years Haimer presents itself as innovative company, whose products considerably increase the productivity and quality in the machining sector. The balancing machine “Tool Dynamic Autodrill” for example, was chosen as the best innovation in the category “control and measuring systems” and awarded with the MM Award. This machine brings automation to tool balancing technology: Thanks to this innovation, machine users can at least measure the imbalance of their tools and remove it by drilling out the material all in one process. Further product highlights were the especially efficient collet chucks of the Power Series, a torque wrench for collets as well as a new user-friendly software for balancing. A focus of development is on tools for high speed machining (HSC) where the top quality Haimer products can show their strengths. An additional HSC logo with a sine curve makes these tools unique.
In 2008 Haimer will be at more than 20 exhibitions worldwide to show these innovations as many users as possible. In Germany, interested people can visit the tool specialist at the Grindtec, Metav, AMB and Euromold and all the innovations will be presented to them. Internationally, Haimer will be present among others at the IMTS, Jimtof and Metalloobrabotka. |

HAIMER at the World Fair for Tooling and Die & Mold - Hall 9.0, booth B 83
(29.11.2007)
|
From December 5th to December 8th 2007 the Euromold in Frankfurt takes place for the 14th time. Of course, HAIMER is again one of the exhibitors at the international meeting point for tooling and die & mold, design and product development.
At the HAIMER booth, the complete product portfolio including balancing, shrinking and clamping is presented to the customers. The visitors can convince themselves of the innovative news about machining.
HAIMER will present again products which are especially tailored to the needs of the die and mold industry. The customer-specific requirements in this production sector are met by HAIMER primarily with an especially lean outer geometry, so that also areas which are difficult to access can be machined perfectly. An example for that are our shrink fit extensions, Mini Shrink and also HG Mini, which are presenting a great support for specific applications in die and mold.
One of the highlights at the booth will definitely be the new revolutionary Power Collet Chucks with highest runout accuracy and rigidity which are adequate for universal applications as well as for high speed cutting (HSC).
The new torque wrench for standard ER and collets of the Power Series, which avoids an overclamping of collets in a state-of-the-art manner via an analogue dial gauge, will attract lots of visitors again.
If you want to convince yourself of the high quality of HAIMER`s products, please visit us at our booth B 83 in hall 9.0.

The new Tool Dynamic Autodrill from Haimer brings automation to tool balancing technology. Thanks to this innovation, machine users can at last measure the imbalance of their tools and remove it by drilling out the material all in one process. You no longer need to go to a separate drilling machine and thanks to the highly accurate clamping and precise metal removal you achieve excellent tool precision. This innovative new development of the time-tested Haimer balancing system leads to a substantial increase in efficiency for tool balancing.
